It's simple. Make it an art gallery. That was our idea when Serbin Communications, a creative resources publisher, wanted to make a new series of high-end photography sourcebooks. Industry-wide, these types of books had been nothing more than cluttered catalogs. And most art directors (Serbin's primary audience) simply tossed them in the trash. But by taking great care with the design, and respecting the photography, AtEdge would quickly become the most trusted and admired sourcebook — and one that art directors everywhere would not only hang onto, but would haul around from one job to the next. Now that's a success story.
